I’m dynamic, creative, passionate and hideously organised, which makes for a great Life Coach.
I have a knack of looking through the clutter, whether it’s emotional or physical and helping my clients find a way through it, making space for them to move on. “I enjoy helping you to find solutions and create action plans that are uniquely yours but at the same time are actually achievable.”
From an early age I seemed to have some “coaching qualities” whether it was my organisation skills - lining up my Mum’s toiletries in size order so that they looked nice to being the friend who sorted out problems, even if it was just a bar of chocolate at the crucial moment. As a teenager I was teased for always being colour co-coordinated, from my lipstick to my nail polish but I just saw it as attention to detail – I still do. My school reports would use the words “lively” or “spirited” and I’m definitely both of those!
I now live in the wonderful West Country with my husband. We love living by the sea and South Devon provides me with a wonderful base from which to run the coaching practice and also provides a stunning backdrop for my Walk & Talk sessions.
In my past working lives, I’ve worked in sales and advertising, run a vintage clothes shop, organised a major Blues Festival and then was a director of a Marketing Agency, so I have a variety of experience. I trained as a Life Coach in 2003 when I decided that my life skills could benefit others and I wanted a better work life balance for myself.
Having run a marketing agency and owned my own business, I am able to apply my experience to many of the issues my business clients face and support them in tackling some of the challenges they might come up against especially when first setting up in business.
All of my clients are individuals therefore all my coaching packages are unique and tailored to your individual requirements.
A free introductory 30-minute no obligation taster session is available to all new clients. This session enables you to ask more about coaching and for me to work out the best package for you!
My unique coaching style means that I recommend a minimum of 4 x 60-minute sessions to really kick-start your changes but this will be agreed at your first consultation.
I regularly work with clients over a longer period of time, depending on what they wish to achieve.
Individual sessions are priced at £50 per hour but please talk to me about packages available to you as these are often at a discounted rate.
For a package that is tailored specifically for you please email to arrange your free session.
Sessions are payable either by cash, cheque or bank transfer. The first session is payable in advance. I charge the full fee for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
My Coaching Styles
I am a Life Coach who uses very practical methods to help my clients get results. People come to see me because they want to change something in their lives but might not know how to just yet.
I work with my clients focusing on where they are now, where they want to be and how they are going to get there, creating realistic and achievable action plans.
One of my clients described their session as follows:
"when I walk into my session with Kate I feel like a tangled ball of wool and when I leave I feel untangled!"
Everyone has areas in their life that just seem to spiral out of control sometimes. Some of the areas I currently help my clients with;
• Focusing & Prioritisation.
• Creating their own solutions & action plans
• Setting realistic expectations for their plans.
• Time & Task Management.
