About Karen
I am passionate about making a difference to the lives of others. This passion is grounded in my natural talent for helping and motivating others through my work and daily life. As a trainer, teacher, mentor and coach I am blessed with the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, engaging with them, supporting them and inspiring them to grow and succeed.
I work with people who want to invest in their own personal development and achieve the goals that will positively impact their lives. My experience of coaching five years ago changed my life dramatically. I broke free of my limiting beliefs, made some pretty scary changes and began a new life path. My own personal journey drives my passion to work with others who want to make positive changes in their lives, particularly women. I am driven by a strong desire to empower women to experience the liberation of recognising their true worth and developing the confidence and self love that leads to fulfilment and happiness.
Experience
I am an enthusiastic, conscientious and committed professional. In my professional roles I have led, managed and coached several teams. I am consistently commended as an outstanding professional with a natural flair for building trusting relationships with others.
I have undertaken courses for mentoring and staff development and completed training for mentoring trainee teachers. My
B-ED degree is in English and teaching, which I passed with honors. I am currently training with The Coaching Academy.
I facilitate women's wellness workshops, focusing on health and fitness goals as well as confidence and self image.
I work alongside gyms as a personal success coach, motivating women to achieve weight loss and develop a positive self image.
I work with schools, supporting teachers with stress management, time management and positive working relationships.
My business plan coaching is an 8 step one to one coaching programme in which you will clarify and define your business plan, understand your personal and business objectives and develop a plan that resonates with you over the course of 12 coaching sessions.
My personal coaching facilitates positive change that impacts on your success and happiness. Particularly in the areas of life transitions, confidence, stress management, understanding your values and beliefs and health and wellness.
Coaching style
I work with you to help create positive change from the inside. I help you understand the values that drive you on your life path and the limiting beliefs that keep you stuck. My coaching empowers you to develop the confidence to achieve the goals that will make the difference to you leading the life you want to live and strengthening your self belief.
I help you clearly define and achieve the goals that will move you forward and make the changes that will improve aspects of your life that aren't working for you. Clients I have worked with have typically pursued goals to improve their work/life balance, manage transitions, pursue a new career, manage their time, improve their relationship, achieve their ideal weight and develop their confidence.
