What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember you between page loads or visits. Some are essential to making the site work; others are optional and help us improve it.

Cookies on Coach Search

NamePurposeType
PHPSESSID Keeps you logged in to your coach dashboard between page loads. Stores nothing about you on its own; just a session identifier. Essential
_ga, _ga_*, _gid Google Analytics, loaded via our Google Tag Manager container. Tells us how the site is being used in aggregate so we can improve it. Doesn't identify you personally. Analytics

Third-party cookies

We load Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-WMRVMCK5), which can fire additional tags depending on what we configure inside it — typically Google Analytics for aggregate site-usage reporting. The full picture of what GTM-loaded tags can set is documented at policies.google.com/technologies/types.

If you go through Stripe Checkout to subscribe, Stripe will set its own cookies on the Stripe-hosted page. We don't control those; their cookie policy is at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. If you block essential cookies, the coach dashboard won't work — you won't be able to stay logged in. The rest of the directory works fine without cookies.
