About Kelly
Having quit my job at a top international translation company in search of a better work/life balance, I came across coaching as a potential new career that appeared to encapsulate everything I excelled in and enjoyed about my previous role as a team leader - helping people with their professional development and promoting positivity.
As well as providing excellent job satisfaction, coaching also permits me to dictate my own hours, which is important when juggling commitments to my 2 young daughters.
I am originally from Portsmouth on the south coast but have lived in London since 2005. After studying languages at Portsmouth University, I began my career in London at a translation company where I remained for 8 years before leaving in search of a new role. During those 8 years, I worked my way up to management level and supervised a team of 10 people based both in London and remotely in Europe.
On a personal level, my passions are spending quality time with family, music and attending gigs, and travelling.
Experience
I am currently studying for the Personal Performance Diploma, which I began in August 2014.
Since enrolling, I have coached a variety of clients on differing goals including career change, relationships and confidence building.
Before venturing into coaching, I worked as a team lead of a team of 10 linguists at a top international translation company in the City. In this role, I was charged with helping my team members reach company targets, as well as personal development goals.
I was recognised for my outstanding positivity and ability to motivate, even during hard times (such as the financial crisis).
